Cancel any time in Settings → Manage Billing and you won't be charged. The trial is a one-time offer per account — changing plans later is prorated without a new trial.
Clicking a different plan opens the Stripe Billing Portal where you confirm the switch. Stripe prorates the difference: you're charged only for the remaining days at the higher tier, and the new plan kicks in immediately. No new trial, no double subscription.
